Excavation-free elevators and earthquake safety
The Vavgen Family, operating with a 20 cm pit and 2.60 m headroom, the TS EN 81-77-compliant Sismik Zone earthquake elevator and a 22-model cabin programme - all engineered by Decosan.
From cabin to guide rail, from a single source
We manufacture the cabin, suspension, car frame and machine frame group; machines, guide rails and doors are sourced from our solution partners.
Two engineering solutions
Vavgen overcomes height constraints in tight spaces; Sismik Zone evacuates passengers safely during an earthquake.
VAVGEN
Three variants: Belt-Driven, Rope-Driven and C-Frame. 20 cm pit, 2.60 m headroom; modular design suited to 2- and 3-entrance scenarios.
SİSMİK ZONE
The earthquake elevator under TS-EN 81-77, designed and implemented in Türkiye first and only by Decosan. 125 mm guide rails, reinforced brackets, anti-derailment guides.
Would you like to design an elevator?
Design your own elevator in the browser, from the number of floors to the cabin finishes; your choices appear instantly on the 3D model.
Engineering born in the field
Laser cutting and bending precision
Cabin and frame parts are fiber-laser cut and CNC press-brake bent; dimensional tolerance is under a millimetre.
Made in our own plant
Cabin, suspension, frame and chassis groups are produced at our Diyarbakır plant; every part is checked before assembly.
Testing and commissioning
Every elevator undergoes load, speed and safety tests after installation and is certified under TSE K 518.
Engineering on site
Project-specific solutions from shaft dimensions to traffic analysis; service and spare-part support after installation.
Frequently asked questions
Do you manufacture elevators in Diyarbakır?
Yes. Cabins, suspensions, car frames and machine frames are produced at our own plant in Bağlar, Diyarbakır. Parts are fiber-laser cut and bent on CNC press brakes with a tolerance below one millimetre. Machines, guide rails and doors come from our supply partners.
What is a Vavgen elevator?
Vavgen is Decosan's elevator family for installations without pit excavation. It works with a 200 mm pit and 2.60 m headroom, so no basement digging and no machine room are needed. Three variants, belt-driven, rope-driven and C-Frame, cover six capacities from 320 to 1000 kg.
What does earthquake elevator mean?
An earthquake elevator detects seismic movement and evacuates passengers safely, while its load-bearing components are calculated for seismic loads. Our Sismik Zone system is designed under TS EN 81-77: once the P wave is detected, the car stops at the nearest floor and the doors open.
Do you provide service and spare parts?
We provide service and spare-part support after installation. Every elevator passes load, speed and safety tests once installed and is certified under TSE K 518. You can reach us through the form on the contact page or by phone.
